Sports, music and events are coming back and at G4S we are back with a new approach to event security, stewarding and crowd control, designed for a very different world. Holding 22,000 visitors and with over 200 events every year, the O2 is home to the world's most popular music, sports and entertainment events and we have an exciting opportunity to be part of the team delivery security excellence.

The Service Delivery Manager role will play a key role in delivering a first-class stewarding and crowd management service to our customer through the on-site operational deployment and management of the teams. You will be the primary point of contact for the customer on event days so building relationships and ensuring quality service and customer-focus is key.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain effective customer relationships through planning, implementation and management of successful event stewarding operations
  • Deployment of G4S team Level 1 to Level 4 on event days, ensuring all staff understand roles and responsibilities
  • Robust briefing and cascading of information and event intelligence from customer
  • Ensure all SOP are adhered to 
  • Ensure all health and safety documentation is adhered to 
  • Routine audits on our team and quality of service
  • Point of escalation for G4S Supervisors 
  • Accountability of workforce through full employee lifecycle
  • Responsible for people management and employment relations in line with key people policies

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • You will have experience in a similar role within the security and events industry
  • SIA Door Supervisor licence as a minimum
  • Breadth of skillset within key event types is desirable but music /gigs is essential
  • Strong customer focus
  • Effective relationship building
  • People management experience
  • NVQ Level 3/4 Spectator Safety or equivalent

This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, but a flexible approach and the ability to work Monday to Sunday dependant on Events is essential.
