 About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and solutions-focused Service Delivery Manager to join our high-performing Buildings and Projects Team. Reporting to the National Operations Manager – Projects and Building Services, this is a key leadership role in our operations team. The key focus of the role is to provide effective leadership to our building crews which consist of electricians, builders, plumbers and handymen. The role carries overall operational and personnel responsibility across the internal trade teams. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring  the allocated workload, achieving efficiencies, identify opportunities for self-delivery across minor capital works and effectively manage sub-contractor relationships. These are all essential to the successful delivery of our contractual obligations and to ensure our KPIs are met and exceeded.

You will be given the full opportunity to operate autonomously – we don’t like to micromanage. This includes overall strategic and hands-on operational responsibility and delivery of operational solutions and services. The role is super exciting, fast paced and never boring. You will have a chance to lead a really great team who are experts at what they do and are passionate about delivering the highest quality service to our clients.

 To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

  • Excellent practical understanding of buildings and building services
  • Demonstrated ability to be an effective leader
  • Solutions-focused - this is a must, you need to be driven to solve issues as they arise
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder - people are at the heart of our success and you will need to quickly establish and maintain successful relationships with key stakeholders (both internal and external)
  • Demonstrated experience in facilities management and delivering technical solutions that meet and exceed client expectations
  • Eye for detail 
  • Compliance focused
  • Desire to learn and grow and think outside the square
