About The Role

​This is an amazing opportunity to begin your Banking Career with ANZ as a Service Consultant. We have a strong focus on coaching and career development. Through our comprehensive training program; we give you the skills, knowledge and experience to develop into further roles at ANZ. Your role will be to support new and existing customers with general enquires and educating them with our range of products & digital and self-service channels.

The environment of the Contact Centre is incredibly fast pace - managing high volume of calls per day across multiple systems and channels. Our environment is ever changing, so having the ability to adapt and keep up to date with communications is an important part of this role. Being resilient and well managed in your day to day is a must, as our staff are focused on providing outstanding service to help our customers and communities grow and succeed.

About You

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Previous customer service experience, ideally from retail, hospitality or contact centre is an advantage, but not a requirement;
  • Passion for customer service, have a naturally empathetic nature to be able to remain solutions focussed to exceed customer expectations;
  • Clear communication and ability to connect with a diverse range of people, highlighting your growth mind-Set & ability to adapt to change;
  • Excellent time management, proficient with utilising multiple systems and technology, strong attention to detail;
  • Confidence to have courageous conversation with customers, showcasing your resilience in a manner that aligns with ANZ ICARE Values
