Job Description
The Laura Canada liquidation store Service Associate provides exemplary customer service to every client. He has strong fashion awareness and is knowledgeable about our product. He supports store in all non-selling functions as per Laura Canada’s policies and procedures i.e. P.O.S. procedures, merchandising, markdowns and administrative functions.
1. Customer Service
Provides exemplary customer service by acknowledging and assisting customers demonstrating a stop, drop and serve behavior.
Ensures fitting room recovery is completed in a timely manner and merchandise placed back on the floor in appropriate section. Ensures LP controls are in place.
Demonstrates high sense of urgency in replenishing, sizing, straightening and conditioning product.
Presents the Privilege Card effectively to all customers.
Achieves the Capture Rate (75%).
2. Point of Sale
Executes all P.O.S. procedures with urgency, accuracy and efficiency.
Controls all cash handling and adheres to LP policies and procedures (i.e. float counts, deposits, petty cash, etc.).
Controls line ups by acknowledging customers with eye contact and a friendly smile.
Captures opportunities to add-on sales at point of sale (explains final sale policy).
Completes administrative requirements as directed (i.e. emails and transfers).
3. Shipping and Receiving
Unpacks and accurately verifies all incoming merchandise, according to SOP Guidelines, with urgency i.e. steaming, tagging, pricing and using appropriate hangers.
Completes markdowns efficiently and accurately.
Ensures our Health and Safety standards are met at all times i.e. backroom clear and free of garbage, exit doors not blocked, hangers stored safely, no hazards on the sales floor.
Places merchandise on the sales floor quickly.

Flexible to the hours of the business
Participates in inventory twice per year, all training sessions and staff meetings.
Works in a standing/walking position.
Lifts approximately 20-30 lbs of product/boxes, when required.
