The Role:

We are looking to bring in Senior Technical Manager under Enterprise Operations and Technology, to help the implementation of next generation Digital Automation Platform. The Candidate is required to possess relevant experience in managing development teams in the distributed systems Eco-System and should be a strong team player. Exposure to Retail Banking products or Wholesale/Investment banking is preferred.

This is a significant opportunity for an experienced Technologist with experience in automation platforms to move into a role working with a variety of development teams, including close collaboration with Finance and Risk Shared Services.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven experience in managing development teams for Financial markets environment. It is expected that you will have superior technical knowledge of current programming languages, technologies and other leading edge development tools

Responsibilities:

• Partner with multiple teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements

• Work with one or more Applications Development teams in an effort to accomplish established goals as well as conduct personnel duties for team

• Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards

• Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint

• Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation. Involve in preparing high level technical specification for the solution, code reviews and ensuring quality of the overall delivery

• Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals

• Provide in-depth exploration with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions

• Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers allocating work as necessary

• Appropriately assess risk when business commitments are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Skills Required:

• Significant technology delivery manager experience.

• Experience of delivering technical development projects.

• Proven experience of working with delivery teams, QA ,BA and solution architect in successful deliveries.

• Experience in Solution governance, delivery governance and quality assurance.

• Experience in working in both waterfall and Agile methodologies.

• Experience with automated build and test processes.

• Ability to lead discussions and prepare product evaluation criteria.

• Experience in Identifying risk and forming contingent plan as soon as possible.

• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.

• Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

• Master’s degree preferred
