What you will do

The EMEA Talent Acquisition Centre of Expertise was set up in 2015 to centralize recruitment activities and talent attraction across the region. The team works as experts to access the external talent labour market. We are positioned to make a dramatic impact on the culture at Johnson Controls by focusing on delivering high quality hires in an appropriate time frame.

 Reporting in the UK Talent Acquisition Team Leader, the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is accountable for leading end-to-end recruitment processes across a range of business functions.

 How you will do it

  •  Working closely with key stakeholders to consult on recruiting strategy and influence hiring practices.
  • Maintaining a professional network; attending career fairs, college universities and networking events
  • Driving the concept of Diversity in hiring through innovative and targeted marketing campaigns
  • Act as a change agent and identify and act on opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Effectively adapt to varying requirements, plan and execute sourcing strategies and implement efficient recruitment process whilst maintaining a level of customer service and stakeholder engagement
  • As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will have a disciplined focus on your customers
  • Proactively develop our candidate base, creating skills-based pools through a variety of sources with view to reduce time to hire and increase service delivery.
  • Always look for new innovate way to source candidates, increase awareness and improve the employer brand
  • Using insights gained through relationships to anticipate future needs and consistently adding value to partners and stakeholders
  • You deliver results and are fuelled by your passion to win, taking personal responsibility to ensure success
  • You are an agile communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills, understand your audience, and can quickly adapt to meet the needs of differing audiences
  • Believing the best work is done in teams, and you seek to collaborate with peers to support their activities and accomplish organization-level goals
  • You should be naturally curious and drive to deliver a best-in-class service while adding commercial value to the process with the knowledge you build up of the market
  • Use reports and data to drive improvements and decision making

 What we look for

Required

  • Must have a successful track record in a recruitment agency or an in-house function
  • Able to deliver an efficient and high quality to service to hiring manager as well as candidates
  • Someone who can advise, influence and develop relationships at all levels
  • Apply recruitment techniques to a wide variety of departments and vacancies
  • Must have expert knowledge of the Boolean search language, and how those search principles apply to both internet and database searches
  • Demonstrate past ability of team leadership/management or proven mentoring experience of team members
  • Able to identify and materialise opportunities to improve processes, service delivery and attraction methods
  • Out of the box thinking, a creative sourcer and problem solver
  • Must be driven, resilient and persuasive
  • Able to deliver within a fast-paced environment by being well organized and prioritizing workloads
  • Must be Fluent in written and spoken English. Additional language a plus.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, resourceful with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Must value culture and be an advocate for inclusion
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication

 

 

Preferred:


  • Experience of leading a team
  • Experience of recruiting for Front Line Sales positions
  • Experience managing and leading projects
