We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to help support over a thousand users and 6000 devices.

What will you do?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Administrator to join our Christchurch based team supporting over a thousand users and over 6000 devices.

• Providing technical input and problem solving to resolve problems and issues, as well as being an escalation point for our Service Desk
• Ensuring redundancy and stability for all critical systems and securing our environment to minimize and eliminate attack vectors
• End-to-end ownership of infrastructure for new and existing solutions, as well as working closely with wider teams to implement new solutions
• Resolving major incidents as a priority and designing fit-for-purpose, secure solutions
• Act as a mentor for Systems Administrators across technology infrastructure

There will be an on-call component to this role for one week every 3 months.

Who are you?

• You have a proven track record in supporting, optimizing and securing enterprise IT infrastructure
• You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and are comfortable interacting with stakeholders from all different levels
• You are proficient in Microsoft infrastructure systems and have experience using Active Directory, SCCM and Intune
• You have experience in cloud and virtualization technologies, particularly VMware and Azure.
