Worley is extremely well positioned to secure several projects across many sectors with exciting opportunities in energy transition, Hydrogen, Alumina, battery minerals. Due to these upcoming projects, we are seeking Senior Structural Designers to join our Brisbane office.

Responsibilities will include:

• Prepare designs using AutoCAD and 12D
• Perform structural specific design and drafting services
• Identify and report changes to project scope
• Prepare engineering drawings and documentation
• Create drawings and documents in accordance with Worley checking procedures
• Meet design and drafting assignments on time and within budget
• Provide support to team members, with a fresh perspective across a range of projects
• Monitor and follow the quality of the design solutions
• Follow-up technical solution and take corrective actions if needed

Qualifications

About You

• Previous experience in Mining and Energy projects
• Experience with 12D CAD & Calculation tools
• Experience with Civil 3D will be highly regarded.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with people at all levels
• Knowledge of Australian Standards, codes and industry practices
• A consultancy background as well as having a passion for developing innovative design solutions.
