This role is responsible for defining the TV, TP, Prems and Products strategy to drive commercial performance and customer satisfaction. This role covers both base and acquisition strategy to drive demand for Sky products across TV and Triple Play.
Your remit will encompass an understanding of our TV, TP, Prems and Products market and competitive context, the Sky base dynamics and trading challenges/opportunities
What you'll do:
• Responsible for developing and delivering the Sky TV and Triply Play (TP) strategy that will drive long-term success. You will ensure the Sky TV Ireland strategy and plans are aligned to the goals of the Sky Group, as well as considering and taking advantage of local factors, product/offer nuances etc.
• You will be a key partner of the Sky TV Ireland budget / long range plan and ensure robust strategic plans are in place to deliver on the commercial objectives for the Sky TV business in Ireland.
• You will be responsible for pushing the boundaries for new ways to grow TV demand, as well as searching for new avenues of growth. This will involve working closely with the Finance, Product and Business Development teams.
• You will develop a Digital Sales Strategy to support the Sky TV business
• You will play a key role in providing Commercial insights for any new proposals with external partnerships
• Be the point of contact for all group third-party contracts and related propositions, e.g., Netflix, Paramount etc.
• You will be responsible for designing and scoping requirements and agreeing cases with Finance for business development.
• You will help to identify and analyse new business opportunities, threats and weaknesses, considering both Sky and Sky TV to identify new opportunities and mitigate known risks.
• Work closely with the TV Commercial team to understand performance and with the Customer Insight teams to harness insights across prospects and Base.
• Develop and nurture strong working relationships with Propositional colleagues in the UK and other European territories to ensure alignment
What you'll bring:
• We require someone with proven commercial competence and an understanding of customer motivations and to translate these into compelling strategies to achieve commercial targets.
• Self-starter: entrepreneurial, with a restless curiosity and positive energy

• An insatiable curiosity, constantly looking for ways to improve things, bringing an external focus on market trends.
• Deliver work with the customer at the heart of what you do
• Experience in developing and delivering a strategy in a business is an advantage
• Experience in the TV sector would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder leadership skills, experience in working with and influencing stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
• Confident in presenting results, insights and business case recommendations for future activity
