With several Senior-Lead-Chief Engineer roles available, this particular role would suit Developers/Engineers with skills in either React, Node, C# or Python and strong experience in building scalable and secure SaaS applications. The next 3 years have an exciting product and application roadmap, from greenfield developments to reinvigorating platform functionality, UI refreshes, and a number of feature enhancements, all utilising a modern, cloud-based SaaS (AWS) technology stack.You’ll get to play a key hands-on, technical role in the evolution and continuing modernisation of several platforms, applications, and business/customer critical systems, this will involve everything from minor enhancements to full-scale application rebuilds to better leverage the tech for customers and make what they do even more accessible to customers – you’ll also guide a skilled team in defining ‘what good looks like’. This is a business who are passionate about high quality software engineering - you’ll also have the opportunity to try new ways of working, bring new tech to the table and develop your own personal career through various professional training and development plans.The technology is driven by AWS and powered by a modern blend of JS .NET and Python,, along with TypeScript and React. It’s important that everyone in their business prides themselves on high quality code.So, what are we looking for?Hands-on technical experience building software applications, services and platforms using modern back-end technologies (preferably either Node, C#, or Python) and cloud technology (preferably AWS)Strong experience working with and driving modern software development fundamentals and ways of working (SOLID, TDD, Agile, SCRUM, etc);Experience working with complex cloud-based applications that service millions of users on a daily basis;A natural team player who can mentor and guide others around them (either in person or remote);A willingness to try something and make it work, along with someone who brings new ideas to the table.In return, you will receive a salary of up to 95,000 p/a plus a range of benefits inc. increased holidays, pension, private medical, healthcare, and a variety of bespoke benefits that you can tailor to suit you..
