Substrate is the data and intelligence platform that enables internal partner teams at Microsoft to build, deploy, and maintain compliant productivity apps and services with reduced effort and faster time to market. The purpose of Substrate Evergreen team is to drive and track ensuring Substrate is using appropriately recent versions of dependency technologies like Windows, .Net, and OSS packages in Production and Test roles (both bare mental/Azure).

Responsibilities

We are looking for team members who are excited about making important technical contributions. In this position, you will create and maintain a list of key platform dependencies used by Substrate and APPs. You will establish and drive “Get Clean” &” Stay Clean” process along with required tooling and integrated with existing quality release process.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience in the commercial software industry
• BS in Computer Science or Engineer or equivalent industry experience
• Proven ability to learn new technologies
• Prefer experience with C#, C++, PowerShell, Web Services
• A working, understanding of agile practices a plus
• Build and/or infrastructure experience a plus
