We are looking for a collaborative, talented Senior Software Development Engineer who can drive the design, architecture, and implementation of near real time distributed services which power our product. You will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary team to conceive and design innovative solutions. You will build technology to unlock insights from large quantities of data for businesses of all shapes and sizes, both interactive applications and services, and near real time data processing applications.
The Customer Insights team is an open, fun, and diverse team that is building the leading Customer Data Platform (CDP), Consent, and Data Integration solutions with AI powered insights and analytics. We deliver a set of solutions organizations rely on to gain deeper understanding of their customers and their behavior. The insights and analytics our solutions generate improve experiences across all customer touchpoints with a brand or corporation.
What you will be doing....
• Architect and lead the detailed design of data processing applications and services – including the development of brand new services, and rearchitecture of existing solutions.
• Provide technical leadership – work closely within the team and across teams to help resolving technical conflicts and achieving consensus.
• Dive deep into implementing most critical components, ensure service’s quality, especially ensure data quality.
• Develop best-in-class engineering for our services by ensuring that the services and the components are well-defined and modularized, secure, reliable, diagnosable, actively monitored and reusable. 
• Troubleshoot and optimize automation, reliability and monitoring for a high-quality service experience for customers, and great on call experience for developers.
Required Qualifications:   
• 5+ years of professional hands-on experience in software development of large-scale distributed services.
• 5+ years of experience in object-oriented design, system design, coding, debugging, testing.
• 2 + years in at least one modern programming language such as C#, Java or Python 
• 2+ years in developing complex software systems in team settings.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Design, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required.
• Experience working on the intersection of distributed systems, big data/scale and AI.
• Experience with building services using cloud technologies (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Excellence in technical communication with peers, partners, and non-technical cohorts.
