The Role

We’re looking for a talented Senior Front-End Software Engineer (React) who wants to build tools from the ground up on a global scale. Your work will have a large impact - it’s the backbone of our business and will be used to solve problems for both our business and our customers in Europe, the Americas and Australia. You’ll deliver business value through software including front end design, system design, development, QA/testing, release management and ongoing maintenance. Day to day, you will be responsible for: spikes, estimation and being a critical piece to the SDLC.

This is a rare role with global scope - you’ll be developing tools that are powering last mile delivery across Europe, the Americas and Australia (with more to come!). You’ll also be building from the ground up, with the ability to shape these tools from initial launch through to a fully featured platform. What you’ll do at Zoomo:

Design, develop and deliver frontend web applications

Write clean, testable code to support business objectives

Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Designers on a daily basis

Contribute to improving the SDLC process at Zoomo

Support and maintain existing systems

Some projects you might work on at Zoomo:

Developing the ability to track assets throughout multiple locations around the world

Establishing tools that monitor and improve the performance of our fleet

Building systems that provide crucial business information to Zoomo colleagues and customers

Building our Localisation Service to launch in 10+ new markets this year

You’ll be a good fit if you:

Have solid fundamental knowledge and experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and the browser environment.

Are proficient with React and Redux.

Are proficient with unit testing frameworks like Jest/Jasmine/Cypress.

Have solid knowledge in working with design tools like Figma/Miro.

Have experience working in Cloud native solutions (Azure/AWS).

Have experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
