We’re a collaborative team working closely with service teams in Azure to build and deliver tools and platforms to help scale and develop Awesome Azure Artifacts like Command lines experience on clients and documentation. Working on these tools involves building code generators, building tooling around industry standard specification like the Open API Spec, backend validation services and front-end experiences too. 

We are heavily engaged with Azure community on Github! Being part of this team will give you the opportunity to work with Microsoft and Non-Microsoft technologies. We are a fast-growing team and are looking for members to join our engineering family with strong relevant experience in building tooling to help reduce the complexity of cross organizational processes and ship the best Azure developer experiences in the industry. Responsibilities

You will drive and collaborate with team members and partner teams to design, build and deliver value in infrastructure and CI/CD automation pipelines of generating, validating, and releasing high quality artifacts smoothly. 

• Drive long-term architecture and detailed design for a highly reliable, scalable, measurable continuous integration systems 

• Own and drive large critical feature areas including establish functionality, stages and costing, work with multiple stake holders 
• Drive the implementation of solution across multiple engineers ensuring compliant, scalable, well tested code with good quality. 
• Deliver value through a strong collaborative approach across teams and regions  
• Establish and drive adoption of good practice and procedure 
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies that take the business to the next level 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications 

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent 
• 7+ years of experience in software engineer role 
• 3+ years of experience of working on Azure DevOps or equivalent 

• Experience using Git or other distributed version control system 
• Hands-on experience in installing, configuring, operating, and monitoring pipeline tools 
• Strong software debugging skills and analytical skills 
• Strong understanding of network essentials and system administration 
• Ability to quickly ramp-up on complex and unfamiliar code 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience with C#, .NET, or Typescript  
• Experience with Azure services, AWS or equivalent 
• Experience with Python, Go, or PowerShell 
• Proficient at OpenAPI specification and RESTful API 

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability of adapting to new technology and going deep 
• Good oral/written communication skills in English  
• High enthusiasm, integrity, ingenuity, results-orientation, self-motivation, and resourcefulness in a fast-paced environment.
