Our client has a couple of vacancies within their Otautahi / Christchurch based team for a Senior Software Developer. This will be a brilliant opportunity for an individual who has a strong desire to grow their career and become a lead within our clients organisation.

Your role:

You’ll be working within a high performing team directly helping to improve products and services for one of our clients key product groups. You’ll be able to put your leadership skills to good use because you’ll be given the responsibility of coaching a small group of software developers, developing their technical abilities and empowering them to tackle problems / challenges outside of their comfort zone. Our client is committed to setting you up for success and they will guide and support you as you venture into your new role as a Senior Developer

What you’ll bring:

• Experience with common Internet and web technologies
• One or more programming languages/frameworks , Javascript (Native / Angular 2), PHP (Native / Laravel / Lumen), .NET/C#, Databases: MySQL / PostgreSQL, Containers: Docker, CI/CD
• Agile software development practices (i.e. TDD, DevOps and Scrum)
• Software development stacks, tools and best practices
• Automated testing tools and best practices
• Brilliant stakeholder management skills
• A desire to lead software development experts
