Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to be part of our SSC Infrastructure team which establishes and evolves the foundation of our secure environments underpinning some of Microsoft's most critical services.  This position involves a healthy mix being the PM complement for development and delivery/operations of infrastructure services (network, identity, etc) as well as driving cross team programs/initiatives.  The ideal candidate is someone with excellent program management and leadership skills. This is a role that requires excellent strategic thinking, deep technical knowhow, good at solving complex problems and capable of developing collaborative partnerships across a team, with the ability to frame solutions and drive alignment. Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

 

5+ year’s Technical Program/Project Management experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of science degree in software engineering, computer science or equivalent work experience.
  • Robust problem-solving skills, ranging from conceptualization to implantation.
  • CISSP or applicable GIAC certifications.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills to include executive level communications.
  • Excellent program management skills and an ability to influence others outside your team.
  • Strong understanding of software security concepts and techniques.
  • Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, proven ability to handle difficult and sensitive situations, great cross-group and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and solve complex problems.

 

 Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
