About IT at TfNSW
TfNSW’s IT group provides the tools, information and services that enable 30,000 employees to deliver a smart and efficient transport network. This is an exciting time to join the team, with a committed annual investment of $700m for progressive technology projects including bots, apps, AI solutions, autonomous 3D mapping drones, cybersecurity and transforming cameras across our network.
The opportunity
Right now we have 2 new permanent, full time opportunities for Senior Security Architects (Cyber) to join our Transport Cyber Defence Team. In this highly collaborative role you will primarily develop security solutions for designated business units within the context of the overall architecture frameworks.
The role partners with Project Managers, the Cyber Advisory team and key peers and stakeholder across the business to ensure effective delivery of security and technology solutions.
The role acts as an important link between the business units and IT in ensuring that security solutions are designed to meet business/user requirements while also aligning to the overall IT architecture and security frameworks.
You will:
Identify, develop and design security solutions and options for internal customers in both a project and BAU context.
Contribute to the development of security architecture patterns and ensuring alignment with the Enterprise Architecture framework and other groups across the cluster.
Provide comprehensive technical reports defining and describing the business security architecture, and the relevant methodologies and activities required for maintenance and support.
Manage complex and sensitive consultations with diverse stakeholders, within agreed timelines, varying expectations, viewpoints and interests.
About you
You are a highly collaborative professional with expertise in delivering Security Architecture solutions, business and systems requirements, and technical design and analysis in a complex and maturing technical environment.
You understand business needs through your excellent stakeholder engagement, relationship building and influencing capabilities. Analytical, pragmatic and innovative, you able to navigate and prioritise a multitude of stakeholder expectations and perspectives and are at home working in a complex and demanding matrix, organisation.
You put people at the centre of every decision you make, and draw satisfaction from the knowledge that you’re making a real difference working on services that connect people and communities in NSW.
You can manage multiple requests and engagements concurrently, and are adept at context switching, prioritisation and working with customers to meet their needs and expectations in terms of timing and quality.
