The Point to Point Transport Commission is the industry regulator for taxis and hire vehicles within the state of New South Wales. We work with industry to ensure they have the knowledge and capability to implement and maintain their own safety management and promote industry compliance.
About the team
The Analytics and Technology Unit supports the Point to Point Transport Commissioner through data insight analytics, blending advisory expertise with expert insights through data investigation. It is also responsible for managing the organisation’s ICT program including the Smart CCTV Taxi Rank initiative and other emerging technologies. The team unit sits within the Operations department of the Point to Point Transport Commissioner.
The opportunity
Based in Mascot, we have an opportunity for a Senior Research & Insights Analyst to join the Analytics and Technology Unit where you will provide data analytic insights to stakeholders including the Point to Point Commissioner.

About you
You will have a relevant tertiary qualification or extensive, demonstrated, relevant, equivalent professional experience in customer insight, data analysis and its management.
Demonstrated experience managing and presenting comprehensive data analytic messaging through story boards and dashboards to stakeholders. You will bring a depth of experience in researching, developing and sourcing reliable and appropriate information and trends analysis to shape the ‘data lake’.
You are a self-starter that can work to deadlines and can work autonomously on a range of different tasks concurrently. You have a high attention to detail and are proficient in written and oral communications.
Salary and Benefits
