This is a long-standing group home builder are represented nationally and continue to provide NZ’s with turn key solutions for home building. They   have contracts with Kainga Ora, and private developers but also they work with clients in Design and Build with plenty of opportunities to price. They are systemised, have few problems with supply issues due to preferred contracts with trade merchants and have forward work planning processes down pact. Adding to this they have a bright team in place with a great focus on staff welfare and wellbeing ensuing that their staff are looked after.

They are now looking for a senior quantity surveyor/QS Manager to provide commercial and team leadership.

Your role involves:

• Completing job estimates/tenders
• Contract administration
• Financial reporting and variations
• Orders preparation
• Supplier management/negotiating
• Team management and mentoring of three staff
• Site visits during construction

Key background:

• 8 + years of residential QS experience including knowledge of NZ Building Code and NZ Building Standards, including NZS3604:2011, 3910/ETC contracts and 3915
• Tertiary qualified with a Diploma/Bachelors degree in CM/QSing
• Top communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
• Strong financial nous, excellent pricing systems skills
• Accuracy
• Drive and want to build a career within this company

Salary $130K - $135K + Benefits
