Are you an accomplished Senior Purchaser who thrives in a fast paced, dynamic role? Do you take pride in knowing that you were instrumental in a company’s profitability? If so, put your talents to the test. Robert Half is working exclusively with a client to find a strategic senior Purchaser. SCMP designation or pursuit of designation is strongly desired for this position.

How you will make an impact in this role:

·      You will own the responsibility of sourcing and expediting materials

·      You will build a strong network of reliable and alternate vendors and oversee contracts

·      Through partnerships with key departments, you will ensure adequate inventory levels necessary for business success

Requirements for the role:

·      Minimum of diploma in accounting/finance or supply chain

·      5+ Years’ experience within purchaser/buyer role

·      Strong influencing and negotiating skills

·      Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

·      Very comfortable with autonomy and proactive in approach
