About the team
The Infrastructure and Place (IP) division is in the process of delivering an ambitious and once-in-a generation multi-billion program of public infrastructure works which will ease congestion, improve safety, create new places and connect communities for generations to come. We are dedicated and passionate team that is proud of the work we do and the supportive and flexible team culture we have built.
The role sits within the Sydney Project Delivery Team, who lead the delivery of all road projects to enable outcomes that meet client expectations and are fit for purpose, for now and the future. This branch is responsible for the delivery of road projects throughout eastern Sydney.
The opportunity
This Senior Project Management role will be responsible for overseeing the delivery a number of different road projects across eastern Sydney.
The Senior Project Manager provides high-level professional guidance for the delivery of projects. The role undertakes and drives project assessments, project delivery processes and operations across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with a range of planning and environmental requirements for large, complex and often continuously operating assets, including working within a project management framework that ensures projects are delivered to best practice project, contract and asset management standards that are commercially sound to the satisfaction of key stakeholders and the community.
The role will also provide high-level professional guidance for the development of proposals, concept designs (ensuring compatibility with land use development, integration with other transport modes and the provision of high-quality, safe and accessible transport networks and services for the customer) to ensure the delivery of an allocated program (or geographical area) of major road capital projects, to time, cost and quality requirements.

About you
Strong infrastructure project prioritisation and planning expertise with a record of success in developing and delivering road or transport infrastructure projects.
Demonstrated ability to build and sustain cohesive and effective multidisciplinary teams, maximising performance at an individual and team level through a transformational period.
Demonstrated superior project management skills and experience with a proven record of project development and delivery of multiple concurrent small to medium projects in a complex and constrained urban environment.
Appropriate tertiary qualifications with a record of success at a senior project management level in a large complex organisation with substantial traffic or transport infrastructure development and delivery experience.
