What you’ll do:

As a Senior Project Manager in the Change team you’ll be a project delivery expert using your practiced project management skills to bring structure and plan the delivery of projects and programmes work streams. You will champion the voice of the customer and ensure change lands effectively across the organisation.

• Lead the end to end project management on a variety of projects, which will include large scale and complex projects or multiple work streams within a programme. This will include significant technical system changes, customer communications, operating model, supply chain, business readiness and various customer channels.

• Lead the project team through the project lifecycle ensuring adherence to governance, comprehensive risks and issues management, effective project communication and delivery of quality artefacts e.g. project plans, RAID log, stakeholder matrix, RACI, readiness plan, and managing the project budget

• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders. Supporting with the shaping and scoping, feeding into business cases, clarifying KPIs, benefit measurement and realisation tracking providing timely and relevant communication through updates and project reporting

• Deputising for Programme Managers and other members of the leadership team when required

• Lead, coach and mentor other Project Managers, sharing your knowledge and experience

• Line manage a team of change professionals, supporting their growth and development

What you’ll bring:

• A proven track record of leading the delivery of complex work streams and projects across multiple business areas with the ability to flex approach, work independently and use initiative within a fast paced delivery environment

• Strong senior stakeholder management skills: building relationships with the ability to facilitate decision making and escalation of risks, with proven experience of facing off to director and exec level stakeholders

• Ability to work with high level direction, independently progressing project shaping, set up and delivery

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, which are required to bring people together to achieve a shared goal

• Our Senior PMs have line management responsibility as part of their role, so proven experience of people leadership will be beneficial

• Experience of managing and mentoring less experienced project managers
