About the Team
The Customer Strategy and Technology team within Transport leads the development of long-term, multi-modal network strategies and place plans across NSW. We leverage data and insights, implement new technologies, drive innovation and build partnerships to provide customer-centred solutions.
The opportunity
Right now, we have an opportunity for a Senior Manager Program Assurance to join the Customer Strategy & Technology division in the Technology & Innovation Branch. The primary responsibility of the role is to oversee and assure the delivery and management of a large scale and multi-stage program of project works, within clearly defined business case, scope, quality, time and cost constraints.
This role reports to and provides support to the Program Director and collaborates with the members of the management team.
What you will be involved in:
Providing program assurance to manage cost and scope and monitoring change in business benefits, to deliver outcomes outlined in the business case.
Updating the business case during program increments, ensuring that cost benefits ratio still viable for the program.
Managing finance stakeholders, ensuring funding allocation and release at various program stages.
Managing overall program finances, including inter-divisional, supplier costs, variations, providing timely forecasts and commentary.
Facilitating the development and approval of program specific quality and safety requirements, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards, and managing implementation to ensure compliance to conditions of approval.
Oversee the development and implementation of a program quality management system, including a system of regular compliance audits and ensure that the audit program is implemented appropriately.

About you
A confident and ethical professional, you demonstrate expertise in Program Assurance and practical skills in technology delivery. You are well versed in developing effective partnerships and trusting relationships.
Proactive, strategic and with a keen eye for detail you implement systems and processes that are underpinned by high-quality analysis, quality management practices and compliance activities to deliver program benefits and manage costs.
At your core you are a collaborative ICT leader, who drives success through empowerment and cooperation to create a diverse environment, where people can innovate and thrive.
