The Digital Transformation Platform group at Microsoft has the charter to bring the best of our AI and research assets, tools and cloud infrastructure, business expertise, rich data, and trusted position together to deliver AI- and ML-powered solutions to customers.  

 

The mission of the Dynamics 365 Insights Apps AI team is to help business professionals unlock the value of their heterogenous data estate with actionable insights that lead to better relationships with their customers, suppliers, and employees. 

We enable businesses to make more informed decisions with the right information while reducing cost and time through automation and providing world class security and privacy.

We are a diverse team of talented product managers, technical program managers, data scientists, and software engineers with expertise in delivering scalable products which leverage the best of open source and Microsoft technologies.

We build different AI technologies together with multiple product teams in the Business Applications space, such as Dynamics 365 Customer Insights, Process Advisor, Supply Chain Insights, and Supplier Spend Insights.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative product manager to help us drive the use of our AI technologies in the enterprise business space. Key responsibilities:

Define and execute AI strategy for AI areas of ownership. 

Establish and nurture solid relationships with partner applications to ship AI capabilities. 

Own relationships with customers to inform product direction and help customers realize strong ROI .

 

Additional responsibilities:

E2E feature ownership: Own development of new features and improve existing features based on customer needs and feedback .

Lead development of features/solutions in collaboration with internal stakeholders across product management, software engineering, data science, UX, marketing, sales, finance, legal, privacy and compliance, solution support, etc.

Define and evaluate (when applicable) feature/solution positioning & value proposition, customer segmentation, PR/communication plan, T&C definitions, etc.  

Own solution deployment and post-deployment support procedures, post deployment customer/consumer feedback loop for future solution/feature iterations.  

Define metrics, telemetry requirements & perform data analysis; set ambitious goals and targets to track for customer and solution/feature success . 

Proactively monitor customer feedback on areas failing to meet the bar and revise/refine solution plans/ strategy to improve quality.  

Ensure timely completion of stage-specific product/business deliverables as well as, in partnership with Design and other PMs, UX and Ethics deliverables. 

Help senior leadership team define vision, strategy & planning, market opportunity assessment, market entry strategy formulation, solution positioning & value proposition, customer segmentation, marketing & sales strategy.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of product management experience preferably on AI and insights technology.

Bachelors degree in computer science or engineering, with advanced degrees in engineering and/or MBA preferable.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience working with enterprise customers and strong cross team collaboration experience important as well.

The candidate should be able to create clarity in the AI capabilities that would differentiate Insights Apps products and translate AI model results into clear ROI for businesses. 

Strong curiosity for new technology areas. 

Highly collaborative, dependable, supportive, and cooperative.  

Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Solid communications skills, both verbal and written.      

Good business sense for where value is created and how to capture it across B2B and B2C industries.     

Data driven and execution oriented.  

Experience with interactions with business/enterprise customers (including senior level). 

Working understanding of data science and machine learning concepts and applications.
