In Azure AI, we’re partnering with OpenAI to bring the next generation of language models into the hands of developers everywhere.  We are focused on providing powerful, yet easy to use ML developer services based on generative language models like GPT-3 that can be used readily out of the box and further customized to our customers’ unique needs.

 

On the Responsible AI team, we work to ensure that each new product or technology we build is developed and used responsibly.  In this role, you will drive Responsible AI product experience and implementation to enable developers to successfully and safely use OpenAI models in real-world applications.

 

This role requires a deep understanding of NLG-powered use cases and Responsible AI and a keen sense of product to define developer (and UI) experiences to let customers harness rapidly evolving technologies.

Responsibilities

As a program manager for Responsible AI, you will build and drive state of the art products that enable customers to apply AI responsibly. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop a deep understanding of OpenAI’s API, customer use cases, and responsible AI practices.
  • Spend significant time with customers, homing in on successful patterns and trends to drive new product design and development.
  • Use creative product thinking to synthesize successful solutions into scalable cloud services.
  • Partner closely with engineers and scientists to build models, APIs, services, and complex systems at scale.
  • Be an evangelist for the technology – showcasing successful applications with blogs and demos.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years in a product management role, designing and shipping complex products for developers, ML professionals, or similar.
  • 3+ years of experience in machine learning and/or AI 

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Experience with OpenAI API and GPT-3.
  • Deep understanding of NLU/NLP/NLG and language models 
  • Experience in Responsible AI or Content Moderation
  • Master’s degree or PhD in Machine Learning, NLP, or Computational Linguistics.

 

Primary Location:  New York, New York. 

Seattle, Atlanta, or Silicon Valley also preferred.
