Responsibilities

The ideal candidate has passion for customers, products, technology, AI, and delivering at scale. He/she works well in a dynamic, fast paced environment with multiple partners/stakeholders and is results driven. Key responsibilities will include

1 Engage with internal/external technical customers to understand the user needs and pain points of the Microsoft Search infrastructure

2 Define the product scope and roadmap of the platforms and tooling for improving the quality of search services

3 Drive scenarios/functional specification from start to finish ranging from short release cycles to multi-year projects

4 Build trustworthy relationship with the internal and external partners/customers

Qualifications

REQUIRED qualifications include:

1 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager and/or Engineering Lead on technically complex infrastructure or platforms

2 Exceptional technical understanding to platform product design principles and business impact

3 Being customer obsessed and able to work with customers and internal/external partners forming alliances without authorities

4 Good at articulating ideas in written and oral form, in both English and Chinese

PREFERRED qualifications include:

1 A Bachelor or graduate degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)

2 Knowledge of machine learning and deep learning systems and techniques

3 Familiarity with modern big data processing techniques and components
