The Microsoft News & Feeds team is looking for a Senior Program Manager with user-centric thinking and the technical acumen to define and deliver innovative news and feeds products that provide billions of people with highly relevant content they care about. The role will focus, specifically, on managing the Enterprise experience and will have to work across user experience and backend teams to drive the end-to-end product experience. This position provides an opportunity to play a strategic role in accelerating the growth of the news and feeds product.

Responsibilities

• Define the enterprise product experience in partnership with user experience and ML teams
• Manage technical dependencies across ML, infra, UX teams
• Partner with our business teams for identification of new opportunities and help with designing and delivering pilots and v1 products
• Manage overall Rhythm of Business for the Enterprise experience
• Manage experimentation, capacity planning and global releases

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of program management/product management experience in internet/mobile or online consumer services.
• 2+ years of experience driving and managing technical and architectural dependencies in consumer internet/mobile products. 
• Experience working with global and diverse teams
• Ability to own products end-to-end including vision, design, build, test, launch, and measurement
• Ability to write user scenarios and feature specifications, and manage a clearly prioritized roadmap
• Ability to partner with technical, operational, business, and other cross-functional stakeholders across the company and ensure buy-in from key stakeholders
• Ability to apply good judgement to often ambiguous decision making
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to effectively implement and monitor complex plans and schedules in a detail-oriented manner
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of recommender systems or ML driven products
• Compliance experience is a plus
• Experience launching large-scale services
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, sciences, or similar technical field
