Microsoft Developer Center Norway (previously know as FAST), with Offices in Oslo, Trondheim and Tromsø is part of the Experiences & Devices devision within Microsoft and is a nexus of information sharing across applications inside of Microsoft Office 365, with ownership of how users experience people, building a semantic information graph across content like files, and providing organization wide searches. We are transforming Microsoft Office 365 to an intelligent fabric to empower people and organizations to achieve more. We span the gamut from user interface design and modern open source implementations (React and ReactNative) to backend data storage and serving across more than 100,000 backend servers. 

Responsibilities

The FAST Services team has responsibility for the development and maintenance of a set of API’s which power experiences and scenarios across 50+ partner teams and 5 billion annual users generating over a trillion requests annually and growing rapidly.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of shipping production software in a developer or program manager function.
• A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or the equivalent in real-world experience.
• Experience working on services related to how people interact with each other, with experience in scenario areas which include discovery, communication, interaction and sharing scenarios particularly interesting.
• Demonstrated excellence defining polished service-driven scenarios that customers crave.
• A sense of pride and personal accountability for end-to-end quality, completeness, and resulting delivery of the scenarios and areas you are responsible for.
• A proven ability to influence and drive strategy at a service or product level.
• Outstanding cross-discipline and cross-team collaboration skills.
• The ability to further enhance our culture that focuses on partner satisfaction using data driven approaches.
• A strong track record of not only individual excellence, but a demonstrated commitment to making others around you great.
