We are looking for a Senior Software Program Manager to join the team.  Our team collaborates across different organizations in Azure to build in-house custom hardware focused on AI.  We immensely value culture, mentorship, and acting as a unified team. Responsibilities

  • Work with an experienced team of PMs and Engineers within our organization to drive the development of an array of software deliverables.
  • Work with SW architect, SW and FW developers, create an entire work map of SW/FW development, correlate all dependencies, and drive for the program execution per the schedule requirement.
  • Be responsible for program management activities that integrate various SW and FW components into Azure Cloud platforms
  • Coordinate and plan for SW/FW releases to support the hardware build, validation phase entry and exit, and final production.
  • Work with the SW/FW development teams, coordinate plan for implantation releases and bug fixes, and track the Best Known Configuration status.
  • Organize multiple SW workstreams, track the development progress, and communicate status to management.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience as a Program Manager or in a technical role with system experience, with +3 years of experience working in Firmware or Software development.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, experience with agile project management methodology, Azure Dev Ops, JIRA, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of building low-level software to run on hardware, e.g., firmware, BIOS, embedded controller, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project experience working across hardware and low-level (driver, firmware, kernel mode) software team.
  • Experience with Cloud Hardware development.
  • Data center hardware/software project experience from inception to go live.
  • Familiarity with firmware development for high performance processors and ASICs.
  • Experience in management of cross-disciplinary projects with an understanding of product development stages
  • Technical savvy, know how to solve the hard problems, and demonstrate ability to work independently.
  • Proven ability to synthesize and communicate solutions to complex technical problems.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, innovative, and can inspire, motivate, and lead cross functional teams.
  • Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts, and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, prioritize multiple strategic and tactical options, and drive issues to closure with a high bar on quality.
