Responsibilities

• Listen and understand customer requirements, and translate them into viable product roadmaps, strategy, and motions with the ability to communicate with broad stakeholders
• Drive end to end product development including product specification, user experience, go to market plan and growth hack initiatives
• Grow our partner ecosystem and provide unique offerings on Azure to transform their storage on cloud
• Deepen the integration of Azure Disk with first party Microsoft services to provide a simple and frictionless experience

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of experience years in professional software development or program management
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Advanced Sciences or equivalent relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience as a key contributor to designing, shipping, and operating large-scale, public cloud services
• Experience with storage, filesystems, distributed systems, and virtualization technologies
• Background in partner onboarding and engagement process 
• Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Technical background on on-premises storage solutions offered by HP, Dell EMC, Pure Storage, or other providers
• Demonstrated customer focus and end-to-end thinking across product areas
• Strong, demonstrated technical problem solving and communication skills; an ability to define common requirements across a wide range of diverse customers; and a passion for simplicity in design that drives scalability
• Demonstrated understanding and experience with system architecture and optimization with a track record of successful solution delivery (e.g., implementing a solution that drives results)
• Ability to identify opportunities and explore solutions out-of-box 
• Critical thinking skills, with the ability to break down ambiguous problems 

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: 

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
