We are seeking a technical program manager to join the AKS Fundamentals team and focus on platform reliability. In this role, you will define and execute on a roadmap to improve reliability of the Azure Infrastructure for Kubernetes scenarios. You will analyze the pain points of our customers, prioritize, define success metrics, and drive engineering teams across Azure to address those pain points. You will lead programs to evolve engineering culture around quality and make a big impact to Azure customers’ experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and track success metrics for platform reliability.
• Mine and analyze data from databases to continually learn about customer experience and drive platform reliability.
• Prioritize the engineering roadmap in accordance with engineering resource allocation and drive against the commitments.
• Partner closely with Azure Compute, Networking, Storage, and other Azure teams to improve reliability.
• Lead a group of brilliant engineers on the execution of product roadmap.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a technical role

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with container technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
• Experience in data analytics

• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
