Responsibilities

The Artifacts team is responsible for building a massively scalable and cost-efficient deduplicating storage service to handle build output storage, build output caching, and debugging symbol storage. This service is a key component in supporting the continued growth of Azure Pipelines and the migration of the last large on-premises build systems within Microsoft (Windows and Office) to the cloud. As a Senior Program Manager, you will lead the strategic roadmap for the security related SBOM service and work with your engineering counterparts to deliver on that roadmap. You will also work with customers to help formulate the product strategy and storage needs of the Azure Artifacts service. The specific position is in the area of securing the software supply chain and managing SBOMs.

You'll create feedback systems to measure the impact of your work through sentiment analysis, developer satisfaction, qualitative feedback, and telemetry. You'll help create a work environment that's inclusive of all perspectives, incentivizes diversity, and creates accountability for positive team collaboration

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant Program Management experience

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related fields
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent understanding of and experience in engineering systems
• Experience with secure software supply chain systems
• Experience with the software development lifecycle as well as backend systems reliability, scalabily and usability
