The Azure Storage team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to work with other PM’s, Engineers, cross-functional stakeholders, and strategic partners on the continued growth and advancement of Azure NetApp Files, one of the most unique and advanced storage offerings in the public cloud. 

Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for several core product areas including: 

• Driving the design and delivery of selected product features.  Duties will include (but are not limited to) collaborating with stakeholders on architecture, design/user experience, product structure and pricing strategy, and supportability 
• Contribute to the overall product strategy and roadmap, and roadmap planning process. 

• Overseeing the engineering release and delivery process, including payload planning and prioritization, specifications and documentation, quality checkpoints/bug metrics, and support readiness.  
• Engaging with customers to understand their requirements and pain points and develop features and solutions to address their needs. 
• To succeed you will need to partner effectively with stakeholders and executives across a wide array of internal and external disciplines and teams. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

• 6+ years of professional experience in product management, software product development, or equivalent experience 

• 3+ years in cloud-based businesses or equivalent experience 
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related disciplines or equivalent combination of work and educational experience 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.  You will collaborate across the company and external partners across disciplines including engineering, program/product management, finance, sales.  You will also engage with external customers. 
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.  You will need to be able to make informed tradeoffs and be able to break down and solve complex and often ambiguous problems. 

• Professional experience in at least two of the following with some experience (possibly informal) in a third:  Storage Technology, Engineering, Software Development, Finance, Cloud Services 
• Prior experience with on-premises enterprise SAN/NAS storage technologies. 
• Prior experience with cloud storage technologies and services.
