About the job

Google is known for our innovative technologies, products and services — and for the people behind them. The Google Recruiting team focuses on providing an amazing experience to past, present and future Googlers. As a Programs Specialist, you will enthusiastically represent the Google brand and build our talent pipeline. Whether it’s making our recruiting systems more efficient, planning for our growth, building relationships on college campuses or cultivating the next generation of computer scientists, you will have a keen understanding on the recruiting needs of Google and the broader hiring landscape. You'll be focused on cultivating outstanding candidates for Google's long-term hiring needs, and you are the glue that ties together a cross-functional and international group of recruiting teams.

As a member of the Regional Recruiting Enablement team, your responsibilities will be to help solve complex problems for the EMEA region's Recruiting Leads and other key stakeholders. By solving complex problems, you will help influence Google’s people strategy in EMEA.

In this role, you'll work with cross-functional and Recruiting Leadership teams to understand business goals, provide both direct and consultative support, recommend and implement programmatic and scalable approaches based on analytics that support long-term growth and hiring objectives. You will make analyses and recommendations that will help hiring delivery and resourcing in the region.

Great just isn't good enough for our People Operations team (known elsewhere as "Human Resources"). We bring the world's most innovative people to Google and provide the programs that help them thrive. Whether recruiting the next Googler, refining our core programs, developing talent, or simply looking for ways to inject some more fun into the lives of our Googlers, we bring a data-driven approach that is reinventing the human resources field. You’ll play an essential role advancing a more diverse, accessible, equitable, and inclusive Google through our hiring, promotion, retention, and inclusion practices.

Responsibilities

  • Identify priority areas of opportunity proactively and create, develop, and implement strategic solutions to address complex operations challenges.
  • Develop consultative business partnerships across EMEA Recruiting Leadership and ensure regular, ongoing communication and coordination across functions.
  • Lead, launch, and land key projects within the region to ensure the advancement of the region’s strategy.
  • Ensure alignment across overall business objectives and collaborate with Googlers across functions to achieve overall results.
  • Manage programs and provide thought leadership, program design principles, and implementation. Support early identification of project issues and escalate with recommendations on how to mitigate risk.
