We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager, who is passionate for security technologies to join our team driving the platform security features for Windows, Linux and the broader Azure platform. These may span from Cryptography, Certificate + Key Management and core Key Isolation capabilities among other things. The Security PM for this area will also drive the adoption strategy of our core security technologies for 1P and 3P products across Azure, Windows and Linux focusing on client, services and the edge. The right strategy will have to keep in purview security, compliance, performance, and ease of use. If you are a smart, innovative, out of the box thinker who understands the different phases of product development, if you have strong communication skills, sound knowledge of OS fundamentals, and preferably a background in security, you will fit right in!

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years Program Management experience, including people management experience.
• BA/BS/BSE in computer science, math, or technical disciplines or equivalent education.
• Experience and proficiency in security modules, ideally in cryptography, identity or authentication – for example Windows Crypto libraries or OpenSSL
• Outstanding team player with strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of isolation technologies such as SELinux and/or knowledge of constrained environments such as SGX, TrustZone etc.
• Understanding of security practices and standards such as Common Criteria, FIPS and NIST.
• Prior experience shipping products and/or services.
