The Division

 

The Customer Strategy and Technology team within Transport leads the development of long-term, multi-modal strategies, plans and policies across NSW. We leverage data and insights, implement new technologies, drive innovation and build partnerships to provide customer-centred solutions.    

 

The opportunity

  

Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Product Lead Websites to join us in the Customer Strategy and Experience team.

The role will be responsible for implementing a product vision for Transport for NSW's customer-facing web products, based on customer research and feedback, web analytics, market trends, business needs and strategies. The successful candidate will have responsibility for developing the product roadmap, setting an actionable plan and communicating to key stakeholders, vendors and business units. You would be responsible for working with Product Owners and development teams to define and iterate the products, solve problems and manage scope

About you

 

Ideally for you to be successful in this role, you’ve worked in a similar role before, and demonstrate a solid capacity in managing the full product lifecycle, including defining and executing product strategy, validating product features and design, while ensuring alignment to the product, customer and channel strategies.

 

You have the ability to adopt the position of subject matter expert for nominated projects. We are looking for someone who can partner and influence key stakeholders to ensure compliance and best practice.

 

Previous exposure to setting product strategy for web based channels and working with delivery team around medium and long term priorities will also set you up for success.

 

Essential requirements

Strong product management experience, including delivery of new products and enhancement of existing web/digital assets through ongoing communication with relevant stakeholders and effective leadership skills.

Proven record of success in managing strategic relationships in a complex and dynamic operating environment.

Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement in an environment focused on customer service.

High level of initiative with ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously and with conflicting priorities.

Strong consulting, analytical and problem-solving skills along with the ability to keep abreast of the developments within other teams at Transport for NSW and the industry as a whole

Experience in promoting a culture of ‘test and learn’, leveraging concepts like A/B testing, consumer actions and insights to achieve optimal performance and results from digital technologies.

 

Salary and benefits

 

The salary for this position is Transport Grade 9 $138,670 - $155,309 per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
