The Opportunity

Join us as a Senior Product Development Executive to help make EDF Business Solutions (EBS) a successful and profitable business.

The team you will join manages the existing product suite and develops new products to meet the changing needs of EDF’s I&C customers.

You will lead in the discovery, design and delivery of new products, working with teams across EDF.

The role is full-time, but we’re flexible on your base location and you have the freedom to work from home as often as you like.
 

The Role

• Conduct product research by talking to customers and internal stakeholders to better understand customer problems and prioritise product improvements
• Design, develop and deliver new products to meet customer requirements
• Present product proposals to senior management 
• Maintain terms and conditions for existing products
• Provide coaching to junior analysts within the team.
   

The Person

What we’d like you to have:

• Highly organised with experience at leading and coordinating projects and business change
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a variety of people including senior stakeholders.
• Strong problem solving skills
• Willingness to challenge the way things are done, and the ability to identify critical business issues and make recommendations for improvements, implementing where relevant.
• Commercial acumen to accurately assess the benefits, costs and risks of product developments.
• Ideally, knowledge of business energy Supply and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) markets.
• Knowledge of issues which drive performance of large businesses, particularly in relation to corporate and social responsibility, sustainability and low or zero carbon energy.
