Are you an inspirational people and culture professional with experience delivering impactful mahi across your organisation? Do you get your thrills from partnering with the business to understand their capability and performance issues?

We are looking for a Senior Advisor to come and join the People and Culture Team to lead programmes of work whilst enabling and inspiring our team of managers and people leaders.

The Taumata Arowai People and Culture Team is our inhouse function for all things that relate to our People. We support our people leaders with organisational design, recruitment, onboarding, learning, health & safety and managing for performance mahi. While doing this we also deliver core services such as payroll, risk management, executive support and business partnering. We work with the business to understand what's happening, we design and develop people solutions, and then we support our people leaders to deliver them!

The People and Culture team provide a range of enabling services to support Taumata Arowai to deliver its regulatory functions, achieve our organisational outcomes and create an awesome culture.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a relevant tertiary qualification and 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Has a passion for creating great employment experiences
  • Has a growth mindset and is willing to try new approaches to HRM
  • Can demonstrate an understanding of the public sector environment in which Taumata Arowai operates within
  • Has the ability to adopt a strategic and long-term approach to their work.
