Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst. This person will be responsible for payroll systems checklist and assisting the Payroll Operations team. This may be the role for you if you are a dynamic Payroll specialist with excellent communication, proven leadership, and are deadline driven.

- Oversee and monitor support requests

- Follow internal policies and act in accordance with relevant laws

- Execute Collective Bargaining requirements

- Audit payroll transactions

- Settle issues and respond to all questions related to payroll

- Engage with accounting and Human Resources (HR) teams

- Handle payroll tax audits and collaborate with auditors

- Prepare reports and maintain accurate records

- take a lead in relation to giving direction to team members on processes and policies

Requirements

- Experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

- Strong organizational and leadership skills

- Bilingual French/English

- Compliance knowledge

- Knowledge of current payroll procedures and related laws

- Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes

- Understands a number of payroll applications

- 2+ years of proven leadership experience as a payroll manager or similar role

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)

- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel spreadsheets, Word documents and Outlook email.

- 5+ years of payroll experience
