The Senior Medical Administrator is responsible for ensuring the Divisional medical portfolio functions are undertaken in a timely and accurate manner. These functions include: maintenance of medical rosters for junior medical staff under the span of control within the Division, provide support to the Medical Divisional Director for related medical employment matters including, selection and recruitment of Consultants, Medicine trainee medical officers, human resource services, day-to-day operations of the trainee medical staff management, rostering, assists with financial and workforce planning, accreditation and risk management processes, project work, information systems management and other work as deemed appropriate.
The position will be working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, including health professionals administrators and service providers from other sectors.
COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement under the Emergency Management (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) Directions 2021 to work in SA Health/health care setting.
