As the Senior Marketing Automation Manager, you will be the subject matter expert of SFMC, liaising with the business to advise on the latest developments within the platform and how they are best implemented. You will also work across the team to ensure the highest standards of QA are delivered, providing customers with consistent experiences relevant to them.
Key areas of responsibility:
As the subject matter expert in SFMC, advise the team and wider business on best uses of the platform
Work day to day with both Campaign and Marketing Automation Managers to devise appropriate strategies to deliver optimum results across all campaigns and business objectives
Ensuring the work carried out by the Marketing Automation Team is resourced efficiently and supported end to end by a thorough QA process
To drive success in your role:
You will work with Campaign Managers in agreeing campaign strategy – who we target, how we identify them, which channels we use, how we personalise/automate etc.
You will build those campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, making best use and providing recommendations on the opportunities to automate, personalise, and propagate messaging across multiple channels.
You will ensure that campaigns across the team built to the highest standards of accuracy and QA’d appropriately to prevent errors.
You will support the Marketing Automation Team in expanding Salesforce capability by researching and implementing add-on modules/technology, and bringing data from around the business into the platform to be used for targeting.
You will guide the team in the best practice in testing strategies to ensure all campaigns are optimised for the objectives they are driving.
You will help deliver a step change in our customer marketing programme from a predominantly manual to an automated system based on behavioural and lifecycle triggers.
You will communicate with the business and be on point to assist with data collection for targeting research, complaints etc.
You will coordinate and assist in the creation of SFMC web pages.
