About the Team

The Customer Strategy and Technology team within Transport leads the development of long-term, multi-modal network strategies and place plans across NSW. We leverage data and insights, implement new technologies, drive innovation and build partnerships to provide customer-centred solutions.

 

 

The opportunity

Right now, we have an opportunity for a Senior Manager Transformation to join the Customer Strategy & Technology division in the Technology & Innovation Branch. The primary purpose of this role is to lead and manage the planning and execution of change and benefits realisation of the Rail Timetables Solution program, seeking to deliver new or enhanced capabilities that enable the achievement of business outcomes for Greater Sydney.

 

This role reports to and provides support to the Program Director and collaborates with the members of the management team.   

 

What you will be involved in:

Lead the development of the program blueprint/target operating model and establish a program plan detailing available resources, budget, business appetite for change and interdependencies to ensure successful delivery of program aims and objectives.

Effectively manage business change and transition by working with the Business Change Manager and Program Team members.  

Influence leadership involvement to assist with delivering the change management plan and make decisions that empower staff to adopt the changes.

Lead the planning of benefits realisation, and reporting by business stakeholders, to ensure business outcomes and benefits are achieved.

Design, develop and manage the delivery of effective and targeted communications and training based on change impacts and stakeholder needs.

 

This role has 3 directs reports and 3 indirect reports.

About you

A confident communicator, you demonstrate expertise in successfully delivering complex change programs and thrive working in a fast paced, complex matrix organisation.

 

You are:

Well versed in developing effective partnerships and trusting relationships.

Experienced in negotiation and finding the middle ground

Proactive, strategic and with a keen ability to deliver program outcomes and benefits.

A collaborative leader, with expertise in motivating and managing teams to engage and deliver effective requirements and services to diverse technical, business and vendor stakeholders.
