Office of the Secretary

 

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Office of the Secretary, expand your networks and have a bird’s eye view of a range of projects, services and activities being undertaken across the Transport Cluster.

 

The Office of the Secretary supports our leaders to develop and deliver the vision and strategy for Transport for NSW. We provide a range of services including strategic advice, executive communications, government and cluster relations, and general business, executive and Cabinet support.

 

 

The Opportunity

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Office of the Secretary’s leadership team for a period of 18 months as a Senior Manager to the Chief of Staff. You will manage the day-to-day business for the Chief of Staff working across communications, government business, reporting, performance, governance and coordination.

 

In addition, you will provide analytical, strategic and professional support to the Chief of Staff, identifying and understanding issues, interests and priorities. You will implement strategies that support an agile way of working in a fast-paced environment while delivering on business needs and priorities.

 

This is an exceptional opportunity to gain experience working closely with senior leaders and contribute to the strategic direction of Transport for NSW, working across Transport and government.

Accountabilities include but are not limited to:

 

Partnering with the Chief of Staff to develop strong, collaborative, two-way relationships across the Cluster and Ministerial Offices.

Responsible for supporting and driving optimal outcomes for partners, stakeholders and customers.

Balance complex needs and priorities in an agile way.
