About the team
The Customer Strategy and Technology team within Transport leads the development of long-term, multi-modal network strategies and place plans across NSW. We leverage data and insights, implement new technologies, drive innovation and build partnerships to provide customer-centred solutions.
The opportunity
We have a Fixed Term Full Time Opportunity (up to June 2024) for a Senior Manager Product Analytics to join the Customer Strategy & Technology division in the Sydney Coordinated Adaptive Traffic System (SCATS) branch.
SCATS enables cities around the world include Sydney optimise their transport networks in real-time, managing congesting and keeping over 1 billion people safe every day worldwide.
This role will lead the product analytics function for SCATS providing insights to better understand customer behaviour and needs, and to support the design and development of better mobility solutions for our customers.
What you will be involved in;
The successful candidate will lead SCATS product analytics unit responsible for designing and implementing our product telemetry approach including capability and delivering actionable customer insights. Additionally, this role will:
Lead the development of real-time visibility of critical product success metrics
Collaborate with product leaders to provide data-driven viewpoints on strategic decisions, identify high impact opportunities for analysis and align priorities with the product strategy and roadmap
Develop insight and measurement roadmaps by collaborating with product manager, customer success, and other analysts
Design approaches and undertaking research for specific insights activities to understand trends, find opportunities, and make recommendations to improve user journeys and customer value

About you
You hold a Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
You have strong experience in an analytical function including as a product analyst
Excellent storytelling, visualisation, and stakeholder engagement skills to clearly communicate insights and explain complex analysis in an easy-to-understand way
You have passion an aptitude for data and using your analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
Great stakeholder engagement skills, with a demonstrated ability to build professional cross functional relationships
