Our Operational Technology Unit within Network Maintenance is responsible for ensuring high availability and reliability of Control Systems, Wireless and Fixed voice and data networks, Condition Monitoring and Passenger Information infrastructure and Cyber Security of Operational Systems.
The opportunity
Right now, we have an opportunity for a Snr Manager Operational Technology Cyber Security to join us in the Operational Technology Unit to lead the Cyber Security Operations team in providing Cyber Security Services to the Operational Systems of Sydney Trains and drive a high-performing team. In this role you will manage the integrity and reliability of technology system assets within the Engineering & Maintenance Branch and drive continuous improvement and consistency in engineering process within the Operational Technology Cyber Security discipline.
Managing the response of the Cyber Security Operations Team to incidents including 24hr provision of advice
Working with the Associate Director Operational Technology to support the development and execution of Engineering and Maintenance Brach Cyber Security Strategy
Leading, coaching and supporting a team of technical staff to develop and deliver high quality network-wide solutions
Managing the integrity and reliability of technological assets within Network Maintenance function to meet asset assurance standards
Managing critical technical interfaces within the Technology Engineering discipline ensuring Network Maintenance requirements are addressed during development of policy, technical documents
About you
You are tertiary qualified in a Technology or Cyber Security discipline with an understanding of IEC 62443 standards, looking for an opportunity that will give you exposure to high level government strategy and help shape NSW government’ cyber security vision.
Your strong communication skills will ensure your ability to present highly technical information in an understandable manner, and then influence a variety of stakeholders to drive improvement and change.
Ideally, you will also have a strong grasp of Cyber Security and Operational Technology and a demonstrated understanding of managing interface issues between various technical, production and operational disciplines.
