33 minutes ago Our client a leading NSW Government Department are looking for a Senior Manager Governance to join their team on a 3 month contract with potential for extension.

The role manages the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of an enterprise governance framework. Providing governance structures and best practice and innovative models to support transparent and effective decision-making; that contributes to the achievement of organisational objectives. The role will facilitate the development of policies, processes, and systems to embed the governance framework, ensuring currency that drives best practice to strengthen governance maturity cluster-wide.

Key accountabilities

Lead the enterprise governance framework's design, implementation and management; provide sound governance structures and models to support transparent and effective decision-making.

Develop and maintain policies, processes and systems for the governance framework that drives best practice. • Provide expert advice and build effective partnerships with senior management, key stakeholders, and subject matter expertise across the business to embed a coordinated best practice approach to governance.

Develop and manage uplift and maturity of good governance practices across the business through a practical communication strategy and training and support program cluster-wide.

• Oversee the preparation of reports, briefs and correspondence to inform key stakeholders.

Lead and manage a team of specialists to deliver research, analysis and evaluation of governance approaches, identify opportunities and initiatives and utilise this work to inform continuous governance maturity.

Key knowledge and experience

Demonstrated understanding, experience and knowledge of governance, policy development, and systems and their application of within a large and complex organisation

Proven ability to engage with stakeholders, lead and facilitate governance and/or other key management processes to achieve positive organisational outcomes.

Demonstrated change, planning, program management skills and experience in the delivery of organisation-wide initiatives.

Appropriate Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
