The opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Delivery Strategy to lead the development of delivery, contracting and commercial models and principles for the Fast rail program and individual projects during the development phase, and manage the transition into the procurement phase.
In this role, you will provide expert advice on strategic procurement options and contracting solutions that would be suitable for proposed investments. You will also provide support on the application of commercial structuring and financial analysis across projects in accordance with relevant frameworks, policies, and standards.
What you will be involved in:
You will lead the continuing development of optimal delivery strategies for individual projects to deliver the required customer, operational and product outcomes
Coordinate and integrate the contributions of specialists to support the achievement of best practice commercial delivery and contract documentation. This will include commercial, project delivery, industry engagement, financial advisory, legal and transaction management
Lead the development of third-party interface agreement frameworks to ensure third party performance and integration against key performance indicators
Lead the development and implementation of an industry engagement plan to inform projects’ definition and delivery strategies
Conduct an international standard benchmarking process to support continuous improvement and best practices

About you
You have a thorough understanding of the planning, procurement, and delivery phases of major infrastructure projects, and demonstrated experience in developing delivery, contracting and commercial models and principles for major projects.
This role requires an individual with a demonstrated commitment to the customer, understanding that our customers are at the front and centre of everything we do. You will display an adaptable and agile approach and an ability to navigate complex problems, be able to forward plan and provide strategic direction to foresee and manage future issues before they arise.
As a strong people leader, you will drive a high-performance culture across the business and be comfortable collaborating with industry parties and stakeholders, effectively managing their expectations.
