    Job Description Summary

    As part of the Corporate Sales Senior Management Team, your role is to contribute to the strategic direction, development and implementation of the Lex Autolease sales strategy for growth and profitability. You’ll champion the organisational values to ensure the effective working and development of the leadership team and lead, motivate and develop your direct reports and their teams collectively, to achieve high levels of performance, within an environment of change, often involving demanding customer and business requirements.

    Our Corporate Sales teams provide expert fleet funding solutions to a variety of sectors across a portfolio of corporate clients. Many of our customers are household names and we have pledged to support our customers on their fleet decarbonisation strategy and helping the UK economy recover.

    By developing these deep and mutually beneficial relationships we can develop our business to generate fleet and income growth. We will achieve this through our long-term aim of sustainable growth built around our customer retention agenda to build lasting relationships and customer service excellence.

    About the role:

    In this senior role you'll be passionate about building relationships and delivering excellent customer service. In line with our ambitious plans, you'll help your team shape and co-ordinate customer fleet requirements across a wide product portfolio. You'll work effectively with both senior colleagues and teams across the breadth of Motor Finance , particularly Risk, Finance, Customer Service, Customer Proposition and Sustainability. Delivering strongly in this role will materially influence Lex Autolease place in the Motor Finance competitor market .

    Here’s where you’ll make a difference:

    You'll lead a team of Customer Relationship Managers  and collaborate with key partners to:

    • Supporting sustainable business growth through the retention of your customer portfolio supported by your strong commercial and negotiation skills – You'll take personal responsibility for delivering results, whilst readily accepting change and utilising a growth mind set to focus on customer outcomes To set and achieve the sales / financial performance targets across a distinct customer segment through strategic and tactical customer management / planning
    • Provide strategic focus for the team to maximise sales and profit opportunity (customer retention, customer penetration, over performance of sales, margin and product targets) Grow existing customer value proposition to drive profit and growth.
    • Promote the bank with professionals and key influencers through your knowledge of the local market and sector specialism
    • Embed a risk culture to protect customers and LBG in accordance with the Group standards, behaviours and ethics
    • Support the Group’s sustainability agenda and lead customers on their fleet decarbonisation strategy.
    • Develop customer specific strategies and tactical activities, co-ordinating and securing appropriate resources to implement and ensure successful achievement of strategic objectives and tactical action plans.
    • Seek referral opportunities from customer base and co-ordinate these with new business colleagues either within LA or LBG.
    • To be accountable for driving the total customer experience, satisfaction and loyalty through the management and co-ordination of supporting resources from within LA.

    What you can bring to the role:

    Essential:

    • Ability to build trusted relationships with key partners and influence effectively from strategy through to delivery
    • Build strong, credible relationships with Lex Autolease sales management, the sales team and central support services
    • Mentoring, coaching and developing the team to produce the best results possible and breed talent within the bank and to drive employee satisfaction
    • Possess a growth mentality and be keep to adopt new ways of thinking to enhance the customer experience
    • In time provide  outstanding knowledge of customers - Uses specialist credit and sector knowledge along with all available digital tools to deliver excellent client experiences whilst identifying ways to grow income, balance sheet and market share and handling associated risks

    Desirable:

    • Understanding of Risk, Finance, and portfolio strategies to drive commercial and ethical outcomes
    • Strong communication and influencing  skills
