About the team
Community and Place team engages with customers, communities and stakeholders within our Greater Sydney region to understand their needs. We do this to ensure our infrastructure projects and transport services make a positive contribution to people’s lives, create vibrant communities and support a sustainable future.
We do this by working with teams across Transport and sharing community and place insights
This is to achieve our goal to improve access, quality of life, and sustainability and improve customer and community outcomes.
The opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced senior manager who will drive the development and implementation of project-specific community and stakeholder engagement plans throughout a project lifecycle. Reporting to the relevant Director, the role also provides expert advice, and advocacy in relation to identified customer and community needs and outcomes for the project.

About you
You are a senior manager with extensive experience in developing communication and engagement strategies for communities and stakeholders, as well as balancing priorities that deliver improved outcomes for customers and communities. As an experienced manager you demonstrate strong influencing, and balanced decision-making skills.
A customer-centric approach is what will see you succeed in this role. You will have a flair for building and managing relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders. Experience with large infrastructure projects is welcomed.
You will demonstrate skills that allow you to navigate priorities whilst driving performance in a politically and commercially sensitive environment.
