About the team

Our Strategy and Engagement team provide expertise in areas like change transition and Implementation for the Technology and Innovation branch (TEI). TEI sits within Transport's Customer Strategy and Technology division who leads the development of long-term, multi-modal strategies, plans and policies across NSW. We leverage data and insights, implement new technologies, drive innovation and build partnerships to provide customer-centred solutions.

The opportunity

Right now, we have an opportunity for a Senior Manager Change Practice to join us in a Fixed Term Full Time Opportunity, initially till 30/06/23.

This role will lead a team of change management practitioners and be responsible for the planning and execution of organisational change management to improve technology adoption and embedment on transport technology projects and initiatives.

What you will be involved in:

Assessing and managing the delivery pipeline for Change Management to ensure the right skillset and right capability are assigned to strategic priorities and team is capitalised

Leading the development and continuous improvement of a delivery agnostic organisational change management lifecycle framework and the processes that drive achievement of strategic objectives and ensure alignment with TfNSW change management practices and Industry best practice

Fostering the growth in change management capability within the Change Management Team and Business

Providing strategic change management advice and expertise and drive change planning and delivery for complex projects

About you

We are looking for a self-motivated and future thinking professional who is seeking their next challenge to drive for real and tangible change. Adept at working in a large and complex organisation with large scale technology projects, you will thrive on modernising frameworks to be delivery agnostic whilst building up the brand of your team.

You will be motivated to consistently deliver high quality outcomes in a complex stakeholder and business landscape that is undergoing continuous transformation. Possessing strong communication and engagement skills, you will be a collaborative leader with the ability to scope programs of work and identify what needs change and identify solutions.

Ideally you will have experience in design thinking with exposure in Agile ways of working and be comfortable in your ability to support a team as they transition to approach. Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent industry experience required.
